Join the Board and Make a Difference!

Board elections are held at the Annual General Meeting. Potential Board members must be individual members of ECVO in good standing, submit an application form and meet the following criteria:

  • Based in the Edmonton region
  • An understanding of the charitable/non-profit sector, its' issues, size and diversity
  • Previous board experience 
  • Experience in the non-profit/voluntary sector  
  • Enthusiastic and able to positively contribute to the development of an emerging organization 
  • Commit to a three year term with a minimum of one meeting per month and participation in sub-committee work 
  • Attend a day long retreat in mid-October
