Job Posting Info and FAQ

 

Welcome to the ECVO nonprofit JobLine.

The JobLine is a fully automated system where both ECVO members and non-members can post employment opportunties.

JobLine postings are free for ECVO members.  Non-members can post jobs for $75 per advertisement.

For summer student jobs, we offer a promotional rate of $25 per posting.

We've done our best to create an ad-posting process that's convenient to use and flexible enough to accommodate individual requirements. That being said, using any system for the first time can be a challenge. We're here to help. Feel free to call us; we'll walk you through the process over the phone or answer any of your questions.

Please purchase your ECVO membership or post a job at a non-member rate here.

How long does my job posting run?

The ad expires automatically after it passes the application deadline, which you can set yourself. Once expired, it will be removed from the listing board and deleted from the system. Please do not exceed three months for the application deadline.

How to create your job posting
  • Please prepare your text in an electronic document.
  • Go to the Members Login page, and enter your username and password, and click the "login" button. New members can find their username and password noted in the confirmation e-mail you received when you registered.
  • When you are logged in, go to the JobLine main menu and click the Post a New Job link
  • Fill in the Job Information Fields and the Job Description
Job Information Fields
  • Add the name of your organization, job title, and location.
  • Select job type and application deadline.
  • You must complete all fields in the form.
Job Description
  • For quick posting, copy and paste the entire text of your job ad from your document into the "job description" section by copying the document's text and then hitting the word-icon of the Job Description's text editor.
  • If you want to copy and paste unformatted text, you can use the text-icon for pasting
  • You can format the listing description by using the formatting icons in the JobLine's text editor.
  • Use the listing description tools to add bolding, bullet points, links or other options to your listing information. It works just like a word processing application.
  • Preview your creation by hitting the preview-icon. This is how your ad will look when it is posted
  • Please review your ad carefully before submitting to ensure everything is correct, as no further changes can be made.
