ECVO Planning for Better Human Resource and Leadership Programs and Services
The Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations is holding focus group sessions to gather information on the nonprofit sector's human resource management and leadership training and support needs, interests and expectations.
Input from the executives and leaders of Edmononton's nonprofit and charitable organizations is critical. Help us identify the quality, timely and affordable training, workshops and resources that your organization needs by participating in one of THREE focus group sessions:
February 16, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch will be provided. 8 SPOTS LEFT
February 17, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch will be provided. EVENT FULL
February 18, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Breakfast will be provided. 5 SPOTS LEFT
The results of the focus group survey will enable us to better:
• Identify capacity needs for training and skills development for senior managers;
• Investigate specific HR tools and training needs (topics, skills and issues);
• Explore the availability of HR tools and training currently in the market;
• Explore preferred delivery methods (workshops, website, print, accreditation, etc.); and
• Investigate the size of need (number of staff who would be involved and frequency of training/service needed).
