The City of Edmonton, the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations, and United Way of Alberta Capital Region have partnered to deliver the Evaluation 101 Training Series in June 2025!
Level up your evaluation capacity with this free training series! Sessions will include instructional time as well as time to workshop participants’ evaluation processes.
Topics Covered:
- Learn what evaluation is and how it can benefit you
- Development of an evaluation toolkit that can be tailored to the needs of your participants and your programs including:
- Checklists
- Planning, data collection & analysis, and reporting tools
- Worksheets
- Guides for ethical and culturally responsive evaluation
- Resource guides
Participants must commit to attending all sessions and have the ability to work on the homework tasks in between.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
Staff attending have to commit to all of the sessions and have the ability to work on the homework tasks in between.
SESSIONS & LOCATION
All sessions will be in-person at the ECVO Training Room (Suite 101, Elm Business Park, 9426-51 Avenue NW).
Full Days – Bring your own lunch
Session 1 (June 3) – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Session 2 (June 10) – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Session 3 (June 18) – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Session 4 (June 24) – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Registration deadline: May 30, 2025.
Participants are responsible for their own lunch.
